Mother Holle

Frau Holle, the kind and gentle cloud queen, lived high up in the sky. She was known for her beautiful white hair that flowed like the clouds, and her warm smile could light up the darkest of days. Every morning, Frau Holle would rise with the sun and begin her work, gently sprinkling dew on the fields below.

Her loyal companion, a little bird named Fünf, would perch on her shoulder as she flew over the rolling hills and green forests. Together, they watched over the villagers who lived in the valley below. The villagers loved Frau Holle, for they knew that when she smiled, their crops grew strong and their families were happy.

But one winter morning, a young girl named Anneliese wandered away from her village and got lost in the forest. She had been warned not to stray far from home, but Anneliese was curious and loved to explore. As the snow began to fall, she stumbled upon Frau Holle's palace high up in the clouds.

Frau Holle welcomed Anneliese with a warm hug and invited her to stay for a while. But as they sat by the fire, sipping hot tea made from the sweetest of berries, Fünf suddenly flew off into the storm outside. Frau Holle's face fell, and she called out to Anneliese, "Quickly, child, I must go after my dear Fünf! He is in danger!"

Frau Holle took to the skies, with Anneliese clinging tight to her back. They soared through the wind and snow, until they reached a great mountain where Fünf was trapped under a heavy layer of ice. Frau Holle's magic sparkled as she touched the ice, and it began to melt away. Fünf flew free once more, chirping happily in Frau Holle's ear.

Together, they returned to their palace, where Anneliese helped them repair any damage caused by the storm. As a reward for her kindness, Frau Holle gave Anneliese a small bag of golden seeds to plant in her village. "These seeds will bring prosperity and happiness," she said with a smile.

From that day on, Anneliese's village flourished under Frau Holle's watchful eye. The crops grew strong and healthy, and the villagers lived in peace and harmony. And every time Anneliese looked up at the sky, she knew that Frau Holle was there, smiling down upon her and guiding her with love and kindness.

As for Fünf, he remained by Frau Holle's side, a loyal companion on all their adventures together. And whenever the villagers heard the soft rustling of leaves in the autumn breeze, they would know that Frau Holle was at work, gently tending to the earth below.
